2026

February

1. Invoices sent to accounting: It is now possible to see which invoices have been sent to the accounting mailbox. In the invoices module, this is visible in the History block of each invoice. In the Peppol Inbox, a new icon appears next to the invoice number when an invoice has been accepted and sent directly to the accounting mailbox.

2. Peppol Inbox filtering: It is now possible to filter and search elements in the Peppol Inbox.

3. Download zip files: It is now possible to download ZIP files that contain multiple documents with the same name. The documents are automatically renamed to: document, document (1), document (2),...

4. Reminders and Proformas on Peppol: Sending reminders and proforma invoices via Peppol is no longer supported, as Peppol is only intended for official invoices and credit notes.

January

1. Peppol improvements:

  1. Peppol statuses are now updated automatically after sending outgoing invoices or accepting, rejecting, or marking incoming invoices as paid.
  2. The OrderReference field has been added to the generated UBL files; it is now possible to define this reference at contract or invoice level.
  3. An information window explaining the different Peppol statuses has been added.
  4. The sender's Peppol identifier is now displayed for invoices in the inbox.
  5. When integrating a company on Peppol, the company name is automatically retrieved from the VAT Information Exchange System (VIES); this name can still be changed during integration.
  6. It is now possible to update the business information of existing Peppol integrations via billing settings.

2. Search contacts by company name: When searching for contacts, results are now also shown based on the company name, in addition to first name and last name (previously, searching by company name was only possible via advanced search).

3. Validation of the VAT format: VAT numbers are now validated in ArchX based on their format. Each country has its own VAT number format, and entering them correctly is important to avoid future problems. Each VAT number must begin with an ISO country code followed by alphanumeric characters.

4. Quantities on invoice lines: It is now possible to set quantities for invoice lines so that one line can contain multiple pieces of the same invoiced item. This provides greater flexibility and better compatibility with invoices received via Peppol.

5. Profitability dashboard improvement: Fixed a rare issue where the total amount was not displayed correctly.

6. Time Entries dashboard improvement: Fixed a display issue where details disappeared when switching between User and Project Views.

7. Filtering invoice exports: Fixed an issue where exported invoices were not filtered correctly.

8. Improper daily workload in planning: Fixed an issue where the current day's workload was not correctly displayed in the schedule.

9. Downloading multiple documents: Fixed an issue where downloading multiple documents at the same time did not work.

2025

December

1. Improved Peppol integration: We've added several new features to our Peppol integration. Some of them include:

  • Split registration: It is now possible to register for a full integration (sending and receiving Peppol invoices in ArchX) or a send-only integration that allows ArchX invoices to be sent via Peppol while receiving Peppol invoices in another software of choice.
  • Detailed invoice responses: It is now possible to send a detailed response to received invoices or credit notes. Received an incorrect invoice? You can inform the sender about this by refusing and providing an explanation.
  • Peppol statuses: We've introduced new statuses so that you always stay up to date with your Peppol invoices.
  • Generate Peppol ID for a contact: It is now possible to generate a Peppol ID for a contact based on their VAT number.
  • Validate a contact's Peppol ID: It is now possible to validate a contact's Peppol ID with one click.

2. Reactivate companies: Deactivated companies can now be reactivated in the settings.

3. Performance export: Exports now include start and end times of time entries, as well as a new export layout with a monthly time entry overview.

4. Time Entries budgeted vs. recorded: An issue has been fixed where the registered vs. budgeted (h) chart is not reloaded properly when changing projects.

5. Planning work hours: An issue has been fixed where the work hours in the planning were incorrect.

6. Project budget correction: The budgeted hours no longer include time entries with an hourly rate.

November

1. Refresh invoice email templates: A new button allows the user to reimplement an email template after changing the communication field, so that the email body is regenerated.


2. Bill Of Quantities total value: Fixed a bug where the total was only visible after opening an item.


3. Filtering contracts by phase: Fixed an issue where filtering by phase is sometimes ignored.


4. Invoice templates separation: Now only the invoice templates of the currently used company are visible in the template selector.

5. Easily visible contract custom rates: If a custom rate is set, the 'Custom Rate' button is highlighted for easier visibility.

6. Custom invoice exports: invoices are now exported with the columns currently shown, allowing for customization of the exported columns.

7. Search for contacts with multiple emails: When a contact has multiple emails, each email will be displayed separately when searching for a contact, making sending emails easier.

8. Absences per hour: It is now possible to register absences by the hour.


9. Office dashboard margin: The margin is now shown in percentage (%) value too.


10. Standard email templates: It is now possible to send regular emails based on email templates, just like documents or invoices.


11. Only access contract dashboards: Users with the 'Can only access the contract if he's the administrator of the project' flag can only access their own projects' invoicing dashboard.


12. Documents page size: Fixed an issue where the page size on the Documents page could not be changed.


13. Invoices sent by post: Files are now saved also when sending an invoice by post.


14. PDF integrated in the UBL file: The invoice PDF files are now automatically integrated in the UBL files sent to the accountancy software.

October

1. Exports: Exported files are automatically deleted after 30 days.


2. Bill of Quantities Excel layout: Improved layout when generating.


3. Invoice exports: A column with the proforma number has been added to the invoice export file.


4. Invoice settings: It is now possible to configure whether the PDF and/or UBL should be sent to the accounting software.


5. Document downloads: The document module now allows bulk downloads up to 50 MB (instead of only 10 files).


6. Export improvement: Exported phases now show the PERCENTAGE type with the percentage amount.


7. Invoice milestones: Invoice milestones are now editable in the phase slider.


8. Dashboard usability: Export columns can now be selected without loading the full dashboard.


9. Bug fixes & performance improvements: Various fixes and performance enhancements implemented.

1. New keyword in document creation
The contacts' 2nd email address is available in document creation via the ${CONTACT_EMAIL_2} keyword
2. Disable Bill Of Quantities / Materials templates
The Bill Of Quantities templates can be disabled or enabled in the settings.
3. Invoice moments in document creation
The invoice moments have been added to the document and invoice creation.

July

1. Peppol integration
ArchX is now integrated with the Peppol network. Start sending and receiving invoices via Peppol starting today!
2. Bill Of Quantities recycle-bin system
The Bill Of Quantities module now has a recycle bin system that allows you to easily restore deleted items or templates.

Deleted items are moved to the recycle bin and are automatically deleted after 30 days.
3. Invoicing proformas
The process to set a proforma as paid has been improved. The date related details (invoice date, payment date) are now updated once, before sending the actual invoice to the customer.
4. Dashboard export performance improvements
Exporting dashboard reports is now faster.
5. Bill Of Quantities bullet point export fix
The Bill Of Quantities export now indent the bullet points with the expected margin (if the left inking value is 0 or undefined).
6. New Outlook Add-in Available
Microsoft is gradually updating all of its mailboxes. To ensure an optimal user experience, we have released a new Outlook Add-in.

Please replace the old Add-in with this new one in your Microsoft environment.

1. Improved dashboard performance & improved ease of filtering.
The loading speed of the dashboards has improved significantly.

Users can now save filters directly from the dashboards page instead of selecting projects as an advanced search. When consulting the dashboards, the last used filter is automatically reapplied, making the use of dashboards easier.

Dashboards now load detailed tables on demand only, making pages clearer and faster.

It is now possible to export the detailed tables from the dashboards without loading them (export only).
2. Improved document loading speed for non-administrators.
Document search performance has improved for non-administrator users.
3. Split time registration: billable & registered hours.
Time entries can now be split into registered hours & billable hours:

- Registered: the actual registered hours that determine the internal costs (these are the current registered hours)

- Billable: the billable number of hours that determine the rate applied

‍The idea of this feature is to allows our users to invoice a number of hours that is not necessarily equal to the actual registered hours. This is obviously only relevant with hourly rate time entries which are directly invoiced to the customers.

A basic example would be a contractual agreement of 5 hours for a task: 5h are then invoiced. But, in reality, the registered amount (and thus the internal cost) is different.

1. Billable hours are now split into "hourly rate" and "contractual" amounts.
The distribution between "hourly rate" and "contractual" amounts is shown when pointing the mouse over the global amount.
2. Unpaid proformas
Proformas can be sent without payment (the buttons have been moved under the “send” button).
3. Translation changes
“WPH”/“Out of contract” → “Hourly rate”
4. Internal notes can now be exported with invoices.
5. “Structured Communication”
“Structured communication” has been changed to “payment communication”, which can be customized as the user likes. The previous "structured communication" remains available to Belgian users (because it is specific to Belgium).
6. Current phase modification
Users can now change the current phase of a project on the contract page, even without project editing rights.

1. Publication of the Bill Of Quantities / Bill Of Materials module
We have released the new Bill Of Quantities / Bill Of Materials  module! This powerful extension allows seamless integration of specifications into a detailed specification document.

1. Document creation improvements
Added more date formatting options for document creation, and document categories are now filled automatically from project details.
2. Improvement in plot creation
When creating a new project plot, the country is automatically filled in based on the user's country.
3. Save emails in ArchX
It is now possible to store an email sent from ArchX directly in the document module.

1. Bill Of Quantities / Bill Of Materials  testing
Started testing our latest feature (Bill Of Quantities / Bill Of Materials) with selected customers.
2. Improvements to the document module user interface
A column selector has been added to the document page to make it customizable.

1. Find contacts without accents
Find people with accented names by searching without accents, for example, find “Étienne” by searching for “Etienne”.
2. Revise dashboard filters
All dashboard pages now use a unified filter engine, with new features such as filtering for custom fields.

View and edit files using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Streamline your workflow: You can now select multiple documents (up to 10 at a time) and download them at once! This feature is designed to save you time and streamline your workflow.
2. New functionality: Phase exclusion when creating documents
More control over your documents: Now choose which phases you want to exclude when creating documents. This flexibility ensures that only relevant information appears in your generated tables.
3. Important note: Update tax settings
Action required: Due to a recent update, the automatic setting of 21% VAT may have led to billing errors for some users. We've removed this setting. If necessary, review and adjust your VAT rates in: Settings -> Invoicing -> VAT rates.
